Congruence of circles and arcs
Remember!! What is congruence?
If one shape can become another using Turns, Flips and/or Slides, then the two shapes are called Congruent:
Congruent circles: Two circles are said to be congruent if and only if either of them can be superposed on the other so as to cover it exactly. This means that they will have the same radius.
Congruent arcs: Intuitively, two arcs of a circle (or of congruent circles) are congruent, if either of them can be superposed on the other so as to cover it exactly.
